A place to find yourself again
Come remember what you always knew. You are more than a diagnosis, more than a prescription, more than a hard thing that happened to you. The work is yours to do. We hold the light and walk beside you.
A note fromStephanie Leopold Founder · CRNA
Twenty years as a nurse anesthesiologist taught me what medicine does brilliantly, and showed me what it often does not have time to reach. My own healing led me deeper into plant medicine, the emerging science of psychedelic-assisted care, addiction neuroscience, trauma, neuroplasticity, and the body’s capacity to change. It also led me into advocacy and policy work within Colorado’s emerging regulated framework. KNEW grew from that understanding: real healing asks for safety, honesty, clinical awareness, and care that can hold the whole person.
“What I offer my patients is work I have needed, and done, in my own life.”
The care here is built with safety at the center. We understand how deeper work can affect the body, the nervous system, and the mind, so we begin with careful clinical screening, thoughtful preparation, and steady support throughout. Think of it as another layer of protection. Whatever pace the work takes, support is there around you.
Healing moves like a river.
It bends, it pools, it finds its pace. People arrive at KNEW from very different waters.
I have done everything, and I am in the same place.
My life is full, and I know there is more.
My labs came back normal, but I do not feel normal.
This is all new to me, and I want to do it safely.
Different waters join the same river.
It begins, for everyone, with a conversation.

The science
The nervous system holds what it has carried
Stress, trauma, and long-running patterns settle into the body. Care here begins with what is already being held.
Neuroplasticity is the window
The medicine and the work open a window of plasticity in the brain and nervous system. What happens inside that window is what shapes the change.
The body can change at the root
Real change reaches the root, where patterns live, not only the surface. Current research into neuroplasticity, nervous system regulation, and nutrition all point this way.
Integration and community make change last
The deeper work opens something. Integration is how it becomes your life, with steady support as new understanding turns into new choices.

What to look for in this kind of work
If you are evaluating providers in this field, these are the questions worth asking. Here is how we answer them.
KNEW Integrative Health is a health organization that bridges modern medicine, behavioral health, neuroscience, lifestyle medicine, and evidence informed complementary approaches. We believe healing is not about finding one solution. It is about understanding the whole person and the ecosystem.
Yes, every service offered through KNEW is provided within the legal and professional framework that governs that specific service. Whether you are participating in medical care, behavioral health services, we follow the laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards that apply to each offering. When medical treatments are appropriate, they are provided through licensed healthcare professionals operating within their respective scopes of practice. When Natural Medicine services are appropriate, they are provided in accordance with Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act and all applicable state regulations. Safety is central to everything we do. Our goal is to create an environment where you feel informed, supported, and safe throughout your journey.
Every person is unique but your story may not be. We begin with a conversation. Sometimes that conversation includes diagnoses, medical history, past experiences, or current challenges. Those are only part of the picture. We also ask, what has your nervous system learned to adapt to? Understanding those adaptations helps us see the whole person, not just a piece or part. From there, we work together to create a personalized path that honors your biology, your experiences, your goals, your values, and your capacity for change. We see every person as an interconnected ecosystem. Our role is not to fit you into a predetermined path, but to understand your unique biology, experiences, relationships, and goals so we can build a plan together.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone else. Its about remembering what you’ve always KNEW.
The KNEW Method is our framework for helping people consciously participate in the ongoing creation of their lives. It is built around four guiding principles that spell KNEW:
KNOWING-develop awareness of yourself, your story, your biology, and your environment with curiosity rather than judgement.
NAVIGATION-learn to navigate life intentionally by recognizing that while we don’t control everything, we are rarely without influence.
EVOLUTION-support meaningful change through intentional choices, healthy relationships, and consistent practice.
WHOLENESS-recognize that healing is not about fixing one part of yourself. Its about honoring the interconnectedness of your body, mind, nervous system, relationships, and environment.
From there, we work together to build a practical, sustainable path that supports whole person healing.
The nervous system influences nearly every aspect of health. Chronic stress can affect sleep, mood, metabolism, immune function, relationships, recovery, and emotional well-being.
At KNEW, we believe many of the challenges people experience are not simply personal failures. They are often adaptive responses to environments that have required the body and the brain to survive. Understanding those adaptations helps us create more effective, compassionate paths toward healing.
